Our dissertation proofreading rates are £12.99 per thousand words
We charge for our dissertation proofreading services according to the length of your PhD, master’s or bachelor dissertation, not hourly. The advantage of this is that you are able to calculate a fixed price for proofreading your dissertation. Once we have received your dissertation we will give you a definite price according to the following formula: word count multiplied by 1.299 pence equals the fixed price.
Even if heavy dissertation proofreading is required and we have to spend more time on your dissertation than we anticipated we guarantee that the price will not go up. You can pay by transferring the money electronically into our HSBC bank account. We can also accept credit card payments through PayPal or Sage Pay.
Proof-Reading-Service.com is VAT (Value Added Tax) registered and that means we have to charge our customers VAT (currently 20 per cent) on top of the original price. The VAT registration is not optional; we are obliged to do this by UK law.
There are, however, two exemptions that will apply to many of our customers:
(1) Customers from outside the European Union (EU). If you provide us with your full address details including postcode we do not have to charge you VAT.
(2) Customers from a non-UK business or institution that is VAT registered in any other EU country (this includes most of the universities). In this case, we need your institution’s VAT registration number and the full address details including postcode of the institution in order to exempt you from VAT.
